These terms describe our commitment to you the customer and your rights and responsibilities when using our services. Please contact us with any questions. If you visit or shop at Catholic Girl Designs (hereafter referred to as CGD), you accept these conditions.
Electronic Communications
When you send e-mails to us, you are communicating electronically and consent to receive electronic communications from us. You may not use a false e-mail address or impersonate any other person or group. The content of any electronic communications to CGD should not be obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable and not contain advertising, software viruses or spam of any kind. You agree to giving complete and accurate information about yourself when communicating with our company.
Copyright
The specific components and combinations of the designs (fonts and images) on the website are the intellectual property of CGD. Images used have been obtained by legal permission from stock image companies where applicable. The only exception to this is photographs of Catholic Saints where the source and/or original photographer could not be determined or located.
All graphics, logos, page headers, and scripts are property of CGD and are not to be replicated without express written consent of CGD.
No part of this site may be reproduced, duplicated, downloaded, copied, sold, resold, visited or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written permission of CGD.
Site Conditions and Policies
CGD reserves the right to make changes to the site, policies and terms at any time. CGD children’s products are intended to be sold to adults for children. CGD does not market directly to children. CGD reserves the right to refuse service, remove or edit content or cancel orders at their sole discretion. CGD is not responsible for Custom and Duty charges for items mailed to countries outside Canada. CGD is not liable for any misuse or injury related to our products.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Media
If you upload images to the website via e-mail, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
Cookies and Privacy
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Returns and Refunds
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. The address for returns will be given to you by e-mail once the return is approved. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when you receive them. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@catholicgirldesigns and attach a photo which clearly shows the damage on the item.
Shipping returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
